The Outreach Team will develop alliances with families (child/adolescent) with Special Needs (multiple difficulties) to promote change and growth within the home, school and community.

The team  implements strategies involving behavioural intervention, play therapy, child/adolescent management, family support etc.

There are two classes in the Frontenac Day Treatment which service children and adolescents who have been given a Dual Diagnosis.  Classes are small:  e.g. six to eight students to three staff.

The family support group for parents with children/adolescents who are "Dually Diagnosed" gives support and aid in assisting to understand the children's specific problems which are often life-long.
